Daniel Baggerly Caps Off Entertaining Evening at Wythe with
Crate Win!
(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) Rural Retreat, Virginia driver Daniel
Baggerly had a very eventful evening last Saturday night, September
13 at the nearby Wythe Raceway. In Crate Late Model action, Daniel
picked up his second feature win of '08 at the Wytheville area
venue. After setting fast time in qualifying, "Bagz"
took the point at the drop of the green flag in the $1,000 to
win feature and never looked back in leading each and every lap!
Daniel also entered the Super Late Model portion of the program
on Saturday evening at Wythe. The Carolina Clash Late Model Series
rolled into town and a $5,000 top prize was up for grabs. The
driver of the #16 entry was fast in hot laps until a cut left
rear tire sent him flipping. The car was badly damaged, but thankfully
Daniel came away unscathed from the incident. After quick repair
work by the crew, Daniel went out and set the eighth fastest lap
in Carolina Clash qualifying, which earned him a coveted starting
spot in the A-Main. Unfortunately, he was later caught up in an
early wreck in the main event that relegated Daniel to a twenty-fourth
